These terms govern the Slice Shop website and the Slice Shop learning service where available. “We” means the Slice Shop team. Contact: support@sliceshopmath.com.
1. Using Slice Shop
Adults may use the website to learn about the product. A parent or legal guardian must manage accounts, purchases and any required consent for a child using the App. By using the service, you agree to these terms to the extent permitted by applicable law. If you do not agree, stop using it.
2. Availability and learning content
The website is an information portal, not an interactive classroom. App availability, supported devices, accessible lessons and paid features depend on the released version and your access rights. Coming-soon content and curriculum maps describe plans, not a promise that every listed topic is already available or a guarantee of a particular release date.
Slice Shop supports mathematical exploration and practice. It does not promise a particular grade, score, test result or learning outcome, replace individualized teaching, or claim official Common Core certification or complete coverage of every grade standard. Choose a suitable starting point and supervise younger children as needed.
3. Parent accounts
Where an account is offered, use a sign-in method you are authorized to use and keep it secure. Do not create an account in a child's name or share passwords or verification codes with support. You are responsible for activity you authorize under your account. Device-only records and account-linked records may behave differently; clearing device data may remove unsynchronized progress.
4. App purchases and subscriptions
If purchases are available, the App and App Store purchase sheet will display the actual product, price, billing period and relevant renewal conditions before confirmation. A one-time course pack and a recurring subscription are different products; only the features specified for the product purchased are included.
Subscriptions, where offered, renew under the terms shown by Apple at purchase unless cancelled. Manage cancellation, restoration and eligible refunds through Apple and the available App controls. Deleting the App or account does not itself cancel a subscription. Access may change when a subscription expires or a transaction is refunded or revoked. Development or local purchase simulations do not represent real charges or real App Store availability. See Apple's subscription cancellation instructions.
5. Content and acceptable use
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive right to use the available learning content for personal, non-commercial learning, subject to these terms and applicable App Store rules. Slice Shop artwork, characters, recordings, lessons and software remain owned by their respective rights holders. Do not redistribute or sell course files, copy the product for a competing commercial service, bypass access controls, impersonate another person, interfere with the service or use it unlawfully. Rights allowed by applicable law remain unaffected.
6. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains website request data, parent authentication, local and optional synchronized learning records, purchase information and support communications. Do not provide unnecessary personal information about a child.
7. Changes, interruptions and responsibility
We may update or maintain content and features, correct errors, or restrict use that breaches these terms. We will give notice where required. The service may be interrupted and is provided without a promise of uninterrupted or error-free availability. You remain responsible for choosing appropriate learning activities and keeping your device and account secure.
Nothing in these terms removes statutory consumer rights, lawful refund rights, or liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law. Any limitation or exclusion applies only to the extent the law permits.
